Perfectly Out of proportion

This is my drawing and the picture outside the NSW Gallery. I was little happy when it was just the drawing. But when I superimposed the photograph and my drawing, than I found out how perfectly out of proportion my drawing was! Please have a look...

Cleopatra and her Sumptuous pearl...

This is an unfinished piece...after it is stretched on the wood it's going to be painted over...(now that's a challenge for me! may be as John suggested I could just do the eye lashes!!!:)) But I can't wait for it to be stretched on the wood!

my life without photoshop..???

What would the life be like for an average artist like me if photoshop never existed? How could I have turned my mediocre drawings around like this...I can't even imagine! On this i would like to thank the geniuses who invented photoshop for us!!!

Oh... here is the second image

I have just cut down the yellow/orange and just about pushed the exposure(that's hardly much that i pushed) and i thought it looked like its shot in the evening so i actually had to add a bit of black. But i loved whats happened overall. The green the blue, the brown and what adds is the reflection of the branches on the building!!! It might appear ordinary to some but I'm happy with it! :)

Only if my battery hadn't let me down....

It was all going peacefully...we all were there full on with our tripods shooting in the night. It started off slow for me, but later there I had just starring to find interesting frames and my camera battery decided to sleep!!! What a shame!!! I think i just got 2 images that i liked. This one is one of them....

I miss my clay I left back home...

Sunday was a very relaxed day for me after a long time. I was restless and didn't know why! I felt like I was terribly missing something! I remembered that it had been such a long time that I had dirtied my fingers in wet clay which gave me so much peace.
I often used to play with clay in my free time. I used to buy it from a hobby shop back home in India.

Once in Diwali (Indian festival - the festival of lights) I had surprised my close family members with my own little amateur creations. Some useful things for day to day.
Today I dug my hard drive to find these images to share with everyone. Please have a look...

I was wrking on this image in the break. I don't know what is it, but I like something about this image. Wanted to share it ...i think it kind of fits in the figure in space assignment with some improvisations may be?!!
