I stitched Sydney together!

This image is shot form the tares of the hostel we stayed when we were in Sydney.
That day we were suppose to do the barbecue there which couldn't happen; but I somehow managed to cook this image up on the tares.

Its not shot without an SLR and a tripod! Its shot on John's mono-pod and my little cannon G11. 5 images made this panorama.(It's not up to the mark if you see it carefully.)

When I go to Sydney next time with my SLR and tripod, maybe I'll also carry more planning and more patience with me!

Challenging car!!!

This was one MASSIVE size to work on! I had never worked on that big size before. It took a lot of time for me to get started. At first i was happy with the way it was going. And THEN we took everyone's boards outside the class and exhibited them. To me, mine looked the weakest. So I decided to give it some push. So I pushed it and pushed it and pushed it and this is where I decided to stop where I thought if I pushed it more, I will really spoil it! And now here it is! Not 100% but I'm working to get there ;)

Eureka Eureka!!! I can draw now!!!

IT WORKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BLENDER BLENDER FINALLY!!!

Bender...When we started, I thought its an impossible software for my brain!
Well i'm not saying that i have completely got it now, coz most of the tools don't even work on my computer, but making these pots was a really easy task. More than easy it was fun to do! I was more happy because it could be exported into photoshop for us to have some more fun with it! This is my first go with blender blended with photoshop!!!

Teminus...End of the road

Last night was 17th THE Nocturnal. I was happy to see so many people coming in. It was great to see all the people walking in and appreciating our work. Every one had worked really hard for it. It was great to see how Pete got his 200 balloons up in no time when almost every one joined him. It looked great when it was up and running! Alysia's roses whispering as quietly as her.Narmin's hanging torches really looked magical as she did say they have been lit up by "magic"!! John's slides were the show stopper again as everyone really did spend a lot of time playing with them. They really did look great and according to me they worked like magic! Lidia's mobiles in boxes looked GREAT! Great work by James too! Sandra's light and dark was a really nice image there. Ben and Kc(sorry i can't spell your name!) were big helping hand for many many of us!
Even the ideas from other artists from RMIT, were simplistic and great!
I had not been a part of anything like this for a long long time. It was really exciting!
It went smooth because David was carrying all our pressure on his shoulder. How relived he must have felt after everything was up!
In this big event, I thought my images of light drawings with the parking signs would get lost, but I was so happy to find out how wrong I was!
Anyways, so here is my little contribution for the big Nocturnal...

figures in space...

This is one more drawing i worked on for the figures in space. I think the last one that i had printed was very simple. It did take a lot of work though, but this one I htink I like better than the first one that i did. The pictures are from Chinese gardens and the sculpture is from White rabbit gallery.
...I hope I can print this one!

Perfectly Out of proportion

This is my drawing and the picture outside the NSW Gallery. I was little happy when it was just the drawing. But when I superimposed the photograph and my drawing, than I found out how perfectly out of proportion my drawing was! Please have a look...

Cleopatra and her Sumptuous pearl...

This is an unfinished piece...after it is stretched on the wood it's going to be painted over...(now that's a challenge for me! may be as John suggested I could just do the eye lashes!!!:)) But I can't wait for it to be stretched on the wood!

my life without photoshop..???

What would the life be like for an average artist like me if photoshop never existed? How could I have turned my mediocre drawings around like this...I can't even imagine! On this i would like to thank the geniuses who invented photoshop for us!!!
